My first semester of english class was okay. When proffessor hegarty first said we had to have a blog for the course i was excited but also did not know what to expect. It turns out doing the blogs wasn’t as bad as i thought it would have been. If i could give my blog a grade for the whole semester i would give my blogs an B+. I say this because i went through and looked for different topics i could have wrote about. I also went through the wordpress website and looked at other peolpes blogs commented on them and even posted a couple of blog subject ideas. The only thing ive done that i could have brushed up on was the times i did my blogs. they were ususally at the end of the month or right at the beginning, which some might think is not so much of a big deal.
the experience honestly hasn’t really taught me anything spectacular. I defenitely learned how some of my classmates think and different situations people go through in their lives. Thats always something good to learn about. As far as learning anything about writing i actually haven’t. I am a frequent journal and story writer in my spare time so its nothing too different except like writing in an open book that everyone can see when you blog so that people can comment on it. I learned that i can also be a great free writer. i usually don’t have to write things down i can just write off my head. When the course is over i didnt know we could still blog on our pages. But i think i defenitely will keep blogging to keep up with the old classmates and to just have a freedom write space. I really liked my english class first semester and im going to miss it, good thing i will have my blog to still keep in touch with some of my class ..if they keep their blogs up 🙂
